Film Projects

Storytelling is such an important part of my writing journey. I started with short stories in primary school, personal essays in college - then finally script writing in university. Nothing can truly describe the feeling you get watching your work coming to life in front of the camera and the beauty of filmmaking will forever be close to my heart.

I didn't limit myself to just writing when behind the camera - I also have extensive expereince in production work as well as working in the art department.

Saplings (2025)

Saplings is a comedic, fantasy realism short film - written as my graduate film for University of South Wales.

The short follows Pia - a mythical being known as a Sapling - as she attempts to learn to live in this brand new world, with all its wonders and tragedy.

I was inspired by the beauty of nature contrasting with the constant bad news on the television (and a little welsh mythology). Eventually it all snowballed into a story of fantasy, sisterhood and connection.

Dream Trade (2025)

My other graduation film in which I produced.

I scheduled, budgeted and organised the entire production as well as producing graphics for the social page.

This was the biggest project I have ever undertook and i am very proud of what I achieved.

Prick (2022)

Prick was a short film created by It's My Shout in collaboration with Coleg Gwent.

My first experience on a film set, I was originally planned to be a supporting artist - I ended up in the art department, helping dress both the bedroom and police station scenes.
